Who we are
Change begins close to home.
NM Foundation is a community-based social service organisation in Pottuvil. We believe lasting progress grows from local knowledge, shared responsibility and practical action.

Pottuvil is more than a location. It is the community we belong to.
The Foundation's Constitution defines its area of activity around the Pottuvil Divisional Secretariat area, on Sri Lanka's eastern coast beside Arugam Bay.

Protecting what sustains us.
The lagoons, mangroves, beaches and coastal land around Pottuvil sustain fishing, farming and everyday life.
Our environmental work is local and practical: encouraging clean surroundings, careful use of natural resources and shared responsibility for the places we all depend on.
